There are quite a lot of arguments nowadays among television enthusiasts as to whether plasma tv is superior or is fact inferior to LCD TV sets for very large displays exceeding 37 inches. For most people, plasma tv sets are a cinch for basic home theater set ups as the technology of LCD sets has not yet caught up with plasma in terms of quality for this kind of purpose. However, LCD sets are cheaper, generally speaking as of today. But if you are considering a home theater system, some of the best options are clearly plasma sets.
