Did John McCain throw in the towel when appearing on the QVC skit on Saturday Night Live?
It truly looked like the death of his campaign (i’m aware it died long ago). But, funny as the skit was, it truly looked pathetic for him. And at the end of the skit, you could hear the fat lady singing:

Who cares about the clouds when we’ere together?
Just sing a song, and bring the sunny weather.

Yes. I mean come on now, how serious can you take your attempt at presidency, when you spend time in the last 3 days before the election on SNL.
