The symbolism of the grateful dead t shirts left many parents and officials seeing red. The classic rock t shirts that are sold today may carry the same symbolism but they have taken on a new persona. Instead of representing rebellion and drug induced psychosis, they represent a band that contributed greatly to the music profession. Today these shirts are in tribute to this group who went the extra step to play music they believed in. The classic rock t-shirts and Grateful Dead t-shirts that many don today are the world’s way of thanking them for their honesty, courage and dedication to their art.

I love Spring! One of my favorite parts of Spring is all of the birds that visit my backyard. I love to look at them and to hear them chirping in the morning when I wake up. I always have feeders for them, but I need to go shopping to find new Bird Feeders. All of mine have been broken by the peskysquirrels. I’ve seen some that are designed so that squirrels are not able to get into the feeder and eat all of the bird food. I think that was an ingenious idea! Maybe I will find something this weekend when I go shopping.
