How do these two home shopping networks stay in business. And how do they trick so many people into buying generic products with brand name prices?

Are Americans really so stupid that they cant even do some online research? It funny to watch people call in saying how much they enjoy their new $500 laptop when I find the exact same product online for $300.

The shows do not compare products. They do not give any negative points about the product. Such a shame that people in this country dont know how to do some research by themselves.
