At the grocery store that I frequent, there is a bulletin board where people can post ads for free. I usually see several ads that teenaged girls place on the board, advertising their offer to babysit and make a little extra cash. There are always advertisement for cars and trucks that are for sale. Once in a while, there will be flyers or pamphlets hanging on the board. They are free for the taking. Yesterday, my sink was clogged up. I had just been grocery shopping the day before, so I went to the store specifically to buy drain cleaner. This was not the first time that I had experienced this particular problem. I had been having trouble with my sink for quite some time. I was spending a fortune on drain cleaner. I should have called a plumber, but I was afraid that I would need a lot of plumbing work done. As I was walking out of the store, I glanced over at the board. There were pamphlets entitled, Plumbing Tips for Homeowners, hanging on the board. I don’t think they were there the day before. If they were, I completely overlooked them. I picked up a pamplet, took it home, and read it cover to cover. I followed the tips that I learned for dealing with a persistently clogged drain. Time will tell if the advice was effective.
