On Water Filter Needs In The US

Saturday, January 26th, 2008

Even with water treatment plants in place, quite a large percentage of water that comes out of the faucets in many places throughout the United States is not clean enough for human consumption. A water filter, properly installed in a home or building will usually be more than sufficient to help clear up any problem with most contaminants. However, many models of water filters actually waste a lot of water in order to produce a small amount of potable water. Others can be quite ineffective and still allow pathogens to pass though. Make sure to read reviews on  water filter  models and keep away from lemons!
